Definition of the “Professional Feng Shui Engineer”

 

The International Feng Shui Federation (IFSF) takes the view that a “Professional Feng Shui Engineer” is a person of proven competence in his / her feng shui (Chinese Geomancy) specialty having a facility for deductive and logical thought, the ability to develop, adapt and assimilate theories and techniques of feng shui (Chinese Geomancy) engineering. The fulfillment of this competence shall be based on the sufficiency of Feng Shui training as well as practical feng shui skills, both of which may be attained after completion of relevant formal feng shui training programs.

 

The Basis of the IFSF Membership Elections procedure is that the candidates are required to present evidence of their qualifications, training and experience in feng shui field. Each of these elements is given an appropriate weighing, which is then measured against the set standards of the IFSF.

 

With this procedure, it is possible to balance any original attainment of relevant feng shui knowledge against the candidates’ professional feng shui engineering experience and additional feng shui study at a professional level.

 

“Professional Feng Shui Engineering Experience” is taken to mean an employment or engagement in the feng shui Engineering field at a “decision making” level, extending beyond the purely feng shui technical knowledge and expertise.
